Hi Friends!
Last year around this time, I had photographed the first ever Billy Casper Golf “World’s Largest Golf Outing”: a benefit to raise money for the Wounded Warriors Project. So, when Karl, the general manager at the beautiful Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia, CA contacted me recently to ask if I would be the official event photographer again this year, naturally, I said, “YES!”
It was a beautiful day to be out on the links…not too warm – a little broken cloud cover from time to time, a gentle breeze, and lots of great camaraderie! With an invocation from Pastor Frank Orzio of the Wounded Warrior Ministry, the teams were off and running.
If you participated, thank you for your efforts to raise funds for this worthy cause. At the time of this writing, the tote board stands at $708,000!
