Hi Friends,
I had the opportunity this week to add two new portraits to my “Faces of Freedom Project.” US Army veteran, Roman Lechicky and former US Air Force Security Police officer, Greg Crandall, were kind enough to sit for me for this series. The Faces of Freedom Project is a personal endeavor to create professional studio portraits of our US servicemen and women as a way to say “Thank you for your service.”
Roman is a friend, and student in several of my classes, and actually agreed to sit for a portrait lighting demonstration for my photography class. We used the opportunity to create the following portrait for the Faces of Freedom Project:
Greg and his wife learned of the project through the recent article in the Old Towne Orange Plaza Review newspaper and contacted me to create the following portrait as a gift for their family. Greg had never been photographed in his service flight jacket, so this was a terrific opportunity to do so as a memento of his military service.
Thank you both for your service!
