Hi Friends,
Had the privilege today of providing portraiture via our Smiles Across the Miles (SAM) organization for the annual Snowball Express picnic – our second year in a row for this wonderful event. As you may know, Snowball Express’ mission is to “…create hope and new memories for the children of our fallen military heroes who died while serving our country since 9/11. ” It’s a joy to see these families come together and derive hope and help from each other.
While it’s not appropriate to post photos of the families here on my blog, I will post one image of the Orange County Sheriff helicopter team who arrived in grand style and entertained kids (and, if we’re honest – adults as well) by letting us crawl all over their A-Star chopper. Terrific guys!
Thanks again to all who made this event possible. More importantly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to the families who have made the ultimate sacrifice in support of MY freedom!
